- Is the $25 required to register for the event?
- Yes, the fee covers the cost of the shirt and ensures that Tap DM can continue to present and promote events each year.
- Are any in-person rehearsals required to participate?
- Tuesday, June 23rd, is the only required rehearsal date. Dancers should have the materials learned before this rehearsal day.
- Are tap shoes required to participate?
- Wear shoes you feel comfortable tapping in. Keep in mind that we will be dancing on concrete for the group pieces.
- Are there any opportunities for tap dancers to perform tap solos?
- Please email danceplace@msn.com to inquire about tap solos.
- Is the performance free for audience members?
- Yes! The performance is free for the community. Audience members are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs if staying for the event.
- Is there a registration deadline?
- Please sign up as soon as possible. Preferred deadline is June 9th.
- I’ve never tapped before. How can I learn so I can get involved?
- No worries! We encourage that you take advantage of our in-person class offerings and give tap a try. Routines are designed to be beginner-friendly, and you can start by performing what you feel comfortable with.
