Even though it isn’t required that you get one of these, you just know that all of your friends will be wearing one, don’t you?  Order two or three so you can keep them guessing about which one  you’ll wear to each performance. Proceeds from t-shirt sales also help Iowa Dance Theatre pay all of the expenses that it takes to put on such a large scale production as The Nutcracker.  Be three, do that and get the t-shirt. Attention Educators! The Iowa Dance Theatre is excited to once again present a special performance of The Nutcracker Ballet to schoolchildren.  The performance will take place on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at the Des Moines Civic Center.  The cast will present a shortened version of this holiday ballet, which will include narration of the story, and should last just under one hour.  In a unique alliance with area dance schools, The Nutcracker cast includes over 220 performers representing 30 dance studios from central Iowa and beyond!  Iowa Dance Theatre is a non-profit community-based organization dedicated to bringing educational, artistic, and performance opportunities to Iowa’s talented dancers.  As we are a non-profit...
